If you wish to prune 10% or more of the overall canopy, you will also be required to complete an application. Light trimming that falls below this amount is permitted without any need for approval from Hills Shire Council.

Fees for Castle Hill Tree Removal Applications
There is a $110 fee associated with all applications, as required by the Hills District Tree and Bushland Management Plan. This fee will apply to all removal applications up to 3 trees. If you need to request permission for additional trees, this can be done at a cost of $36.60 per tree.
